Taking hold of one of the balls, I found it was very much a spherical shape. I began to pick at the end of the foil, and pulled it off. I found this was very easy to do indeed! Before me I now had a pale milk chocolate coloured ball. From it drifted an excepionally sweet and strong milk chocolate scent. It reminded me of that which came from Easter eggs -...more

I have always been a lover of those little chocolate footballs you get in little party bags and such like. I have always wondered who first started them off, but never have I found out. Though leading supermarkets often do their own options, such as Tesco. It was quite a while ago that I had these from tesco, but it seems like only yesterday... Peeking into this little window you could see lots of colours coming from the foils the chocolates were wrapped in: reds, greens, blues, blacks and whites. Looking in my desk drawer were I keep all of the wrappers etc of things I am waiting to review I decided that it was high-time I set to reviewing the mountain of sweets (well their wrappers anyway) that are living there. The first bag I pulled out was one that at some point in its life used to contain Tesco's Milk Chocolate Footballs and so it is these that I am going to review today. Milk Chocolate Footballs cost 38p a bag but can be purchased on offer with two more bags for £1 from Tesco's. The sweets come in a 75g bright blue bag that is reasonably eye-catching when on the shelf. The bag also has a picture of a yellow alien wearing red shorts and football ...  Read the complete review
