Anyway, on top of the topping are the dark chocolate 'nibs' which are better described as chocolate chips. Because the topping is simply melted chocolate (or imitation melted chocolate) when you bite into the cake the chocolate cracks and has a tendency to go everywhere and be very messy. I love anything chocolate and I especially love chocolate cakes, so when I spotted the Chocolate Tea Time Selection of six cakes from Tesco for just £1, I decided to give them a try. This is a pack of six different chocolate cakes - all cupcake sized - and you get two each of three varieties. They come packaged in a purple wrapper, and inside the cakes are housed in a clear plastic tray, which has a lid. I suppose the purpose of the lid is to stop the cakes getting squashed, but it did seem a little unusual, and in all honesty, I think they could have saved packaging and done without it.
