These are another of the wonderful cream delights that our neighbour gave to us recently. I was particularly delighted when I saw them because I love cakes with custard in them especially custard flavour donuts! The cakes are formed in the shape of a finger and there are two in the box. In between the sponge-like outer there is a spreading of raspberry jam and a thick layer of custard. Each finger is lightly finished off with a small 'dusting' of white icing sugar. Tesco do a variety of cakes and confectionary, and some of these options can be found in the fridge sections of their stores in the dairy aisle. There are various ones to choose from, from eclairs to tarts, and these, the Custard and Jam 'doughnuts'. The cakes come in a cardboard box which has main colours of blue and peach. It does not look very exciting but there is a clear window on the top. Peering into this you can see what looks like a golden coloured cake.
