... Custard Doughnuts are definitely a treat item and not to be had too often, but when you do have them, I'm sure you'll enjoy them as their really tasty. I have been eating these doughnuts for many a year now and will continue to have them, but only on special occasions as they are very unhealthy. I will give these doughnuts a Dooyoo rating of 4 stars out of 5 and will gladly bump them upto 5 when they are good for you....more

Definitely not an everyday item of food, Tesco Custard Doughnuts are something which I find I need to have every now and again as a small treat, either as a way of cheering myself up after a hard day at work or even just as a dessert after a meal. But be warned, its very hard to stop after just one or maybe two, and very soon you've scoffed the whole packet down! ~~Varieties~~ I must say that these are really excellent doughnuts and the custard sort are my favourite flavour by far, but there are several different varieties if you fancy a change or cold custard really isn't your kind of thing. They come in the very common but also very nice ...  Read the complete review

I like the odd Doughnut. I'm not that fond on the plain Sugar Ring ones, but I like Fudge, Custard and Jam one. I don't buy them too often, as I know they are kinda bad for you, but you know how you get tempted in the Supermarket? Especially when you've had a long day and just looking for something to cheer you up and give out loads of sweetness? That day came and went quite recently. I got these from Tesco's Bakery department. You get a pack of 5 and these cost me 89p. They are fresh made, and don't have a long best before date on them since they are baked in store. i reckon you get 3 days max from when you buy these before they go a bit too hard. They never ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Custard Doughnuts: Delicious doughnuts! (396 words)

In Tesco's you will always find a bakery section where you can get your hands on fresh bread, biscuits and buns. The fresh baking they have there is usually very nice and Tesco Custard Doughtnuts are no different. I really do enjoy doughnuts and I think the custard variety has to be my favourite, although jam do come a pretty close second. They have to be bought in a multipack as you cannot buy them on their own. You get five doughnuts in a packet at a cost of 65p, so 13p a doughtnut, bargain. The problem I find with having five is that I hate to throw food away and the temptation is too much sometimes, therefore I don't buy them that often because I ...  Read the complete review

Tesco do a fine selection of products in their bakery, and among the do-rings and the cookies you can find doughnuts. These come filled, either with jam or with custard. Ive tried both, and I must say they are both delicious, but I adore the custard ones the most... The pack of five doughnuts come in a red paper bag which is sealed with a sticker. There is a clear window on the front so you can see it to the products. The doughnuts are a fair size, and fit in your palm. They are quite a golden colour, a lot darker than I would have imagined. You can see they are coated in sugar too. They seem very tempting indeed! When you take a doughnut out you ...  Read the complete review

Donuts and custard - whoever though to put these two together deserves a Nobel Peace Prize! I am a huge fan of the custard donuts and it has to be said that for the price, these are not too bad. Tesco gets a lot of bad press however I still go there to get what I need and what I need are donuts! Description These are coated in a white sugar and are round. They are sold in packs of 5. They are best eaten the day they are bought however they can be frozen which is something I did not know about. Handy if you are planning to have people over, they can easily be defrosted and served. As I have not done this I ...  Read the complete review
