Even when the ice cream is at full price, this is still a good price. The ice cream comes in a plastic tub. I'm not one to pass up a special offer in the supermarket so when I came across Tesco Dark Chocolate Fudge cake reduced I didn't hesitate before I bought it. This ice cream is part of the premium range, which includes different flavours such as strawberry cheesecake, rocky road and toffee almond. The ice cream can be found in the freezers alongside the other ice creams. These ice creams were in a freezer to themselves however in the next door container was Haagen Dazs. This was quite encouraging as surely if they were next to an amazing branded name, they would be good quality. If you're a fan of the taste of Ben & Jerry's Fudge Brownie Ice Cream, but not so keen on the price tag that goes with it, this is the ice cream for you! It costs £3 for a 1lt tub, which is twice the size of your average premium ice cream tub. Ben & Jerry's and Haagen Daaz will set you back more than twice this amount, charging around £4 for a 500ml tub of one of their (gorgeous) ice creams. Inside the sturdy plastic tub, you'll find a deliciously deep chocolate coloured ice cream. Running in and out of it, there's a generous helping of chocolate sauce.
