We had a little get together for my brother in law last night because he is about to embark on a voyage around the world working on a Super Yacht. Naturally we ate together and I wondered what I could for pudding. Tesco Double Chocolate Mini Muffins are fairly affordable at £1.41 for a box of 12 little muffins. That works out at 12p each. There are certainly cheaper alternatives available, but I think that the price is fair for the quality you get from these muffins. Each little muffin comes in it's own peel-back paper cake case. In true cake case fashion, peeling this off means a trail of crumbs will inevitably go flying all about the place! I would recommend opening up these babies over a piece of kitchin towel though to avoid a mess all over your carpet.
