A great sandwich for on the run, great taste but would be better with a sauce instead of mayo

I bought an Egg and Bacon Sandwich on Malted bread last week from Tesco and I really enjoyed it. The only thing I would have preferred is a tomato sauce or brown sauce instead of the mayonnaise, the same as they put on an all day breakfast sandwich. Don't get me wrong I am a big fan of mayonnaise but there are certain types of foods and sandwiches where a sauce or chutney is needed instead - bacon is one of them.

I was impressed at the amount of bacon that was in the sandwich and I also liked that the eggs were not mashed but roughly cut. You could still see egg slices in the sandwich. The sandwich cost me £1.80, which I thought was a fair price. The sandwich tasted fresh - as fresh as convenience packaged food can taste and the bread was soft.

Egg and bacon sandwiches are one of my favourites so I have tried many and Tesco has produced one of reasonable quality. For a sandwich on the run I think this would rate as one of the better ones because of the quantity of the sandwich filling and because the sandwich tasted fresh.
