This comes in a box with a clear cellophane lid. On the side of the box it says: 'Light, free range egg sponge with juicy apple pieces and Bramley apple puree, rich blackberry jam, vanilla pod buttercream and all butter oaty crumble.' Mmm, sounds nice, doesn't it? Well, it is! I'm quite pleased to see from the list of ingredients that it contains coriander, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, fennel, clove and cardamom. It also contains 11% apple and 8% Bramley apple puree. Hooray! A cake chock-full of real fruit and spices!
