Tesco Finest Chocolate and Caramel Eclairs

The ... more  ... éclairs are sliced in half (long ways) with a layer of caramel sauce down the middle. Then there is a thick layer of fresh whipped cream. On top of the éclair is a Belgian chocolate fondant with a pattern of diagonal lines of caramel and chocolate.
The amount of caramel in the éclairs is perfect, just enough so you can taste it but not so much that it is overpowering. The chocolate fondant on the top is a little bit too sweet and sometimes gives me tooth ache as I have quite sensitive teeth (not surprising as I keep ea...more |

Tesco Finest Belgian chocolate and caramel éclairs are one of my favourite desserts from the finest range. They come in packs of 2, which is good because if I ate more then that I would be a - sick, b - the size of a whale and c - always at the dentist as all my teeth would fall out! They come in a clear plastic container with a thin cardboard band around them. The band has a picture of chunks of chocolate and caramel on the top.
