My dad recently turned 60 so I went on a hunt for a rich chocolate cake, and came across this bad boy. I was enticed by the word 'indulgence' and it looked like just the right size so it went in my basket. For £3.38 you get a medium sized chocolate cake, perfect for birthdays and special occasions. I looked at other varieties, like the funky character design cakes as a novelty, but they seemed too big as there would only be 3 of us eating them. As Marjorie Daws would say “I do like a bit of cake” and if you are going to buy one from a supermarket then you cannot go far wrong with Tesco Finest Chocolate Indulgence Cake. The cake comes in two sizes and I purchased the smaller of the two for £1.69 from my local Tesco convenience store. It is packaged in the branded silver box to denote the finest range with a clear section on top so that you can view the contents.
