My dad recently turned 60 so I went on a hunt for a rich chocolate cake, and came across this bad boy. I was enticed by the word 'indulgence' and it looked like just the right size so it went in my basket. For £3.38 you get a medium sized chocolate cake, perfect for birthdays and special occasions. I looked at other varieties, like the funky character design cakes as a novelty, but they seemed too big as there would only be 3 of us eating them. I wanted to get something that wasn't too expencive just incase it didn't all get eaten, but I didn't want to skimp on quality. As Marjorie Daws would say “I do like a bit of cake” and if you are going to buy one from a supermarket then you cannot go far wrong with Tesco Finest Chocolate Indulgence Cake. The cake comes in two sizes and I purchased the smaller of the two for £1.69 from my local Tesco convenience store. It is packaged in the branded silver box to denote the finest range with a clear section on top so that you can view the contents. Now in the nutritional blurb on the top it has the amounts for what it claims is per slice however in their opinion you can get eight slices from the cake whilst in reality unless you had the dexterity of a heart surgeon and the appetite of a ...
