In an emergency these chunky chips are heaven sent, I am sure that all of us have those odd times when the phone goes and it is relatives wanting to call in and it just happens to be around about feeding time! Don't get me wrong, I am more than happy to see visitors but my brain suddenly goes into overdrive trying to mentally concoct a makeshift meal. Luckily Anna and her six feet three hollow-booted husband aren't fussy, as long as it is fodder and there is plenty of it then that suits them fine. I house sitted for my Mum recently and she left me a whole bag of these in the freezer. The chips are provided in a polythene bag which I cut open with a pair of scissors. I placed a generous portion of chips on to an oven tray and then finally seasoned them before drizzling a tad of oil over them and putting them in the oven on around 220 for 30 minutes or so. I didn't take them out until they were as golden as they appear on the packet and the smell being produced by them was fantastic and utterly mouth-watering!
