To my mind there is nothing worse than a cheap and cheerful coleslaw, I can do cheap and cheerful on many products but this is one product that is worth paying a penny or two extra for. I like to try to watch my weight but the low calorie coleslaws are just not worth eating, I find that the mayonnaise always seems to be very glutinous and the shredded vegatables soon start to show signs of discolouration. I have enjoyed the Tesco finest coleslaw many times, It is great served with a salad, it makes a fine topping for a jacket potato and it is delicious served in a sandwich. I am a huge fan of the Tesco Finest range and I find the Tesco Finest salads are better than most supermarket salads. One of my favourite meals is a variety of salads with some cold meats and ham, and I am especially fond of coleslaw. I usually make my own coleslaw if cooking for a lot of people, but if it is just my husband and I at home I prefer to buy a small amount and Tesco Finest Coleslaw is the perfect amount for us. Tesco Finest coleslaw is made of finely chopped cabbage, carrots and onion with a delicious creamy sauce made of mayonnaise, crème fraiche and double cream (not the best thing if you are counting those calories!).
