They cost a small fortune but I'd rather Value (Tesco Finest Range)

Advantages: Some things taste good

Disadvantages: Not as good as I think they should be for that large price

Tesco's is a very well known brand who have been around for many years, it was established in 1913 and has since them become immensely popular. There are now several Tesco's stores in each town.

One of the newest Tesco's brands is Tesco's Finest, These items cost about £2 more than the normal Tesco equivalent, apparently this is because they have been recommended by top chefs and they have been made with the best possible ingredients. I personally think that they just wanted to get a bit more money out of people who want the best. I personally can rarely afford to buy from this range but there are some people who are lucky enough to be able to every day and it seems that Tesco are trying to make money from these people for products that are of the same of less quality than the average Tesco product.

I've tried quite a few Tesco Finest products now, I've bought a few when I could afford them and have eaten quite a lot at friends houses. However I have been really disappointed by them. They're meant to taste so much better than normal Tesco products but in my opinion they often taste worse. I've found a lot of Tesco Value products that taste a lot better than their Finest range counter parts which just goes to show you that fancy labels and titles don't necessarily mean that the products are any better.

I've bought a packet of Finest cakes before only to find that they were completely stale and Finest Chicken Ready Meal but found it to be totally tasteless.

I did buy a very nice packet of Coconut Ice which was delicious and well worth the £1.79 for just 6 pieces, but this is the only thing I've liked from them.

I've given up on the Finest range now and will stick to their normal range and the Value one which I find to be of very high quality. It might just be me who finds them to be poor quality, maybe I have bad luck and therefore pick all the bad products but I don't think I'll be buying them again.

Summary: I won't be wasting my money again
