I buy fish pies on a pretty regular basis as they are quick, tasty and more nutritious than other ready meals. Whilst wandering the aisles of Tesco last week, I came across this one in the freezer section and decided to give it a go. At around the £1 mark, it wasn't too differently priced to the Youngs ones that I regularly buy. The box was almost identical to the one pictured above, although it was portait as opposed to landscape and the background was a darker blue. The fisherman's pie from Tesco is found in the freezer aisle and is available for around £1 or, you can buy any five of their frozen meals for £4. This is a really good value offer as there is quite a choice of meals available (from pasta to curry and everything in between) and they are generally of a good standard. I buy these meals as they are handy for work and the fisherman's pie is one of my favourites. It comes in a blue box, with a mouth watering picture of the pie on the front (although I have to warn you, I've yet to make the actual contents look quite that beautiful!).
