I normally buy the Asda version of these but for some reason I had a bit of a dense moment when doing the online shop and forgot a few things! I managed to pick up a pretty similar version in Tesco for 68p. The Naan's come in a pack of two and they are very reasonable in size. The packaging is see though so you can clearly see that the bread's are a pale cream in colour with the odd browner circle here and there. There are generous helpings of green coriander all over the top whilst the other side remains plain. The great thing about these bread's is the smell that engulfs the kitchen when you rip open the pack. Almost as soon as you make a small ... Read the complete review

Tesco Garlic and Corriander Naan is a decent little addition to a take-home take-away from Tesco. It perfectly compliments a lot of their Indian dishes, though I don't see why you couldn't eat it with other cuisine if you wanted to do so. It's reasonably priced at 68p for a packet of 2, and for this you get two giant pieces of bread that can easily be split four ways. The appearance of the bread is pretty nifty, with generous sprinklings of corriander all over the thin, pitta like bread. The smell that comes off this because of the corriander is very inviting. It's a clean, fresh smell with a twist of garlic mixed in that makes me think this stuff is going ... Read the complete review

Naan bread is about the only thing about Indian food that I like. So unlike most people I don't buy them to eat with curries or anything like that, I have them as an accompliament to Chinese stir fry, lasagne or anything with sauce, I tend to buy them instead of buying garlic bread which I find a bit hit and miss. I have bought both the Asda and the Tesco versions, but even though the Asda ones are cheaper, I prefer the Tesco version. They are slightly thinner than the Asda ones, which makes warming them easier. I find with the Asda one the wider end is alsofatter as well, so the outside starts to crisp before the inside gets warm. This isn't a problem ... Read the complete review

If you are cooking curry then the two most common accompainments are rice and naan bread, well there are in my house at least and hence I often find myself buying these packs of Tesco Garlic and Coriander Naan Bread. They also do a plain naan flavour as well but these have a little extra kick and flavour to them. They come in a pack of two and take six minutes to cook in a pre heated oven or you can do them under the grill, I prefer the oven method personally as they do not go as crisp on the outside and staff light and fluffy on the inside. They are suitable for vegetarians and can be frozen but should be defrosted before use. Taste wise they are ... Read the complete review
