I knew we was having pizza for tea the other day so I picked one of these garlic breads up in Tesco to go with it. We usually have the baguette style garlic bread and after eating this boring one I reckon we'll be going back to the baguette ones! lol It's round and flat like a pizza and I think the bread itself is a light pizza base but I can't check because I've chucked the box away now. It deffo tasted like pizza dough and not actual bread anyway. It's a lot thinner than I thought it was going to be and there was hardly any smell of garlic on it and even by the smell I knew it wasn't going to be right for me because I love strong garlic ... I bought this last week to accompany homemade pizzas. I have had it before and seemed to remember enjoying it. I thought it looked like a nice alternative to your usual garlic baguette. It came in a cardboard box with a cut out so you can see the product inside. Inside, the circular bread is on a polystyrene platter and then wrapped in plastic to keep it fresh. The box is not the same as the one in the picture and instead is a dark green colour with a large picture of the product and bold white writing giving a description of the product. It cost £1.39 for 170g and I would say the pizza bread was about 12 inches across. You can only cook this product in ... Read the complete review

My partner and I were hosting a bit of a family get-together recently, and had arranged a bit of a spread for those who were visiting us. We opted to buy several ready-made items as well as doing a bit of home-cooking, and spread it all out in a buffet style, so that our guests could help themselves to whatever they fancied at their leisure. We had a variety of breads and pizzas which were purchased from two different supermarkets, one of which was our local Tesco store. Whilst in the store to buy some of the assorted products for our buffet, we noticed the "Tesco Garlic Pizza Bread" which was in the chilled food section, in one of the large ... When looking for something a little different to do for my tea one evening I spent a few moments browsing the aisles of Tesco. I wanted an accompaniment to go with my spaghetti bolognaise. I was looking at all the different varieties of Garlic Bread that the store had on offer and found the Garlic Stone baked Pizza base. The Garlic Pizza base was something that I had never tried before having previously brought the garlic dough balls and the garlic bread sticks and for whatever reason I had never even noticed the Garlic bread pizza base before, I am one of those people who just flies round the supermarket in a blur these days, grabbing all my items in a 20 ... I like Garlic Bread and probably like the Pizza Base ones the best. There isn't too much eating in it in my view, and as long as you don't cook it too long and the top part gets all crispy, then it is nice. This is found in the Chiller section of my local Tesco next to the chilled Pizzas. This cost £1.39 for 170g. I think the size of it was 10". Packaging for this was alright. It was a square box which had a large picture of the Garlic Bread on the front. It looked nice and fluffy with a nice coating of the Garlic Butter on the front. It had the cooking instructions on the back which were to cook in an oven at 200 degrees for approx 10-12 ... Read the complete review
