Advantages: A yummy texture; Nice and light

Disadvantages: The garlic flavour needs to be stronger; A bit dry

I knew we was having pizza for tea the other day so I picked one of these garlic breads up in Tesco to go with it. We usually have the baguette style garlic bread and after eating this boring one I reckon we'll be going back to the baguette ones! lol

It's round and flat like a pizza and I think the bread itself is a light pizza base but I can't check because I've chucked the box away now. It deffo tasted like pizza dough and not actual bread anyway.

It's a lot thinner than I thought it was going to be and there was hardly any smell of garlic on it and even by the smell I knew it wasn't going to be right for me because I love strong garlic bread.

It's got a yummy texture and is light and a bit stodgy at the same time. Because of how thin it is you have to be careful not to overcook it because it doesn't taste right when it goes crispy, I brought 2 that day and one was cooked perfect so that it was still nice and floppy but the other one had gone crunchy and that wasn't half as nice to eat.

The garlic isn't very strong at all and I thought it was quite bland especially because of the base being so salty. I think the taste of the bread was quite nice but when you want garlic bread you expect it to taste nice and strong of garlic, this one tasted like a pizza without the sauce and cheese to me and that wasn't what I was after.

I thought the garlic bread was a bit dry as well and I reckon that's because they didn't use as much butter to get the garlic flavour as they do on baguette garlic bread. I only had 2 very small slices because I thought it was proper boring, the one that had gone mega crispy didn't hardly get touched and even the one that was cooked good was on the table for ages before it all got ate.

It cost about £1.60 and that's not bad value if you like it but still more expensive and not as nice as proper baguette garlic bread.

Summary: Not The Sort Of Garlic Bread That I Like
