... these come in in slightly more adult than the Sugar Puffs box. Sugar Puffs feature a Golden Honey Monster on them whereas these just have a closeup of a bowl of cereal against a cloudy blue sky. This is a bit of an improvement if you are buying this cereal for adults, but ultimately what matters is the taste. I opened this box of cereal up and poured some out into a bowl and added some milk. You have to be careful when adding milk to these and add it slowly or the puffs can easily spill out of the bowl as they are ...more

I love cereals and have recently again been trying various different ones. One of the cereals I've sampled is Tesco golden honey puffs. This can be found in only in Tesco as it is specific to them however the equivalent can be found in other supermarkets such as Tesco. There are also similar cereals in branded names but you must be prepared to pay a lot more for them. They can be found in the cereal aisle alongside the other Tesco cereals. These particular ones were right next to the honey nut cornflakes. They come in one size of box. The box weighs 625g in total. This is quite a average for your typical cereal box as most usually weigh 500g! ...  Read the complete review

I'm a film student. I bought this cereal to be part of a film I was shooting, and picked it up mainly because it was cheap and had a visually striking box. However, after hte short was done I foound myself left with over £1.50's worth of superfulous cereal. So I ate it. When you pour out a bowl you are greeted with an aroma like stale cake, and looking at the 'puffs' themselves they don't look all that different either. They're shaped like regular honey puffs but if you insepct one you can see it's shiny, that's from the glaze of sugar (I presume) that's been painted on. Chuck on some milk and they go soft almost immeadiately, yet ...  Read the complete review

I'm not against buying supermarket products and that is why I pick these up every now and again. They cost around £1.60 for a 625g box which is fairly reasonable in my opinion. The cereal is made from puffed wheat and are coated in honey which you can see if you look closely. They are of course Tesco's take on Sugar Puffs but do they even come close? I like to eat these straight from the packet because it curbs a sweet tooth but they are also good with milk. When you pour over your chosen colour, you will find that you need to eat them quickly before they start to go soggy. The top ones are nice and crunchy but you don't need much energy to chew them. The very ...  Read the complete review

I have mentioned in previous reviews that my boyfriend and I are both sweet cereal junkies (it's his fault, he converted me!) and that he has a nut allergy. Therefore we are always looking for new cereals to try that are sweet but nut-free. There isn't a whole lot of choice so often we just end up buying sugar puffs. But when I found these Tesco's Golden Honey Puffs cost just £1.75 for a 625 gram box compared to Sugar Puffs which cost £2.99, we decided to give them a go. The box these come in in slightly more adult than the Sugar Puffs box.
