 ... of what this tastes like. The vegetables that go into are fine, a bit on the chunky side for my liking, but they taste okay. It's the dressing that's truly vile! It's watery, it goes off within just a day or two, and it tastes like cheap low fat mayonnaise mixed with vingegar and salad cream. The smell of it isn't a lot better, and taking all things into account, I would never eat this again as long as I live. I don't know what the other half was thinking when she came home with this monstrosity. It's supposed to be good for you, okay, I get that. But does it have to taste so utterly awful? Tesco Healthy Living Coleslaw costs around £1 for one of the larger tubs, and it's available in the salad aisle of Tesco exclusively. It's intended as a lower fat and calories version of their regular coleslaw. Basically, they've used low fat mayo and added a bit more cabbage to their regular coleslaw. I'm a big fan of coleslaw and I also like to make sure I eat healthy. Coleslaw is one f those products that can be quite bad for you in terms of fat content so I thought I should seek out a low fat brand as I do eat it a lot. Sometimes low fat products just don't live up to their full-fat friends and I have had some low fat coleslaw that is not very nice at all. I was very pleasantly suprised by Tesco Helathy Living Brand though. The product is low in fat and calories (about half the fat of a full-fat pot) and to me doesn't compromise on flavour.
