... many crisp looking golden flakes. They are all a good size and look delicious, I always find myself eating a few before I make it to the milk and I have to say they would make a pretty good dry snack too! Pour over ice cold milk (full fat tastes best!) and sit yourself down with a spoon. I like to eat mine asap while still crunchy as possible, my strange husband leaves his to go soggy first! These cornflakes are pretty sweet, as should be expected at 33% sugar, but are no more so than the leading brand which is ...more

As I was sitting at the computer eating a bowlful of these, I felt a review coming on! Similar to the Kellogs Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, these are called Honey Nut Cornfalkes. The box is red and orange mainly rather than Yellow but they are pretty much the same thing, the biggest difference being the price! A 500g box of the Kellogs varety costs £2.17 and the Tesco ones cost £1.18 - a massive saving of 99p! When opening the packet you are greeted by a lovely sweet cornflakey smell and tipping up the bag out tumble many crisp looking golden flakes. Premium Review CRUNCHY WITH CORN, BUT NOT SO MUCH NUTS (415 words)

This is not the normal type of cereal I would buy, but since I tried a box of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes from a Kellogs variety pack, I realised that this Cereal tasted quite good. I decided to buy a box of this in Tesco last month, as it was cheaper than the brand name version, and I thought if it wasn't that good, then I wouldn't mind losing the money so much. This box cost me £1.17 for a 500g box. I thought the packaging looked kind of cheap, but not value range cheap. The box is the normal rectangular shape and is a light red colour. It has a picture of a bowl of the Cereal on the front and it just looks a bit dated. I know this is how boxes of Cereal ...  Read the complete review

I love cereals and have recently again been trying various different ones. One of the cereals I've sampled is Tesco honey nut cornflakes. This can be found in only in Tesco as it is specific to them however the equivalent can be found in other supermarkets such as Tesco. There are also similar cereals in branded names but you must be prepared to pay a lot more for them. They can be found in the cereal aisle alongside the other Tesco cereals. These particular ones were right next to the regular Tesco cornflakes. They come in two different sizes of box. The larger box weighs 750gin total whereas the smaller weighs the regular 500g. This is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review They're crunchy honey, but where are the nuts? (393 words)

Whilst in town at the weekend I fancied some 'naughty' cereal as part of my 'munch' so leaving the boys outside the Tesco store, I wandered in and went straight to the cereal aisle. Once I had, had a good look at every single cereal on offer, I decided that I'd have a try of these honey nut cornflakes. I've tried Tesco own brands of cereal before and they have been well up to scratch so was happy to choose these over the Kelloggs variety. The cornflakes cost me £1.18 for a 500g box which is very reasonable considering this is around half the price of Kelloggs. The cornflakes smell very fresh as you open the plastic wrapper in the box and there is a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Honey Nut Cornflakes: Cereal Comparison (432 words)

I have been forcing myself to eat breakfast for some time now as part of the weight watchers plan as apparently skipping the meal alltogether as I was previously prone to doing messes up your motabolism for the day. I dont really like to eat in a morning but I started out by eating plain cornflakes with some fruit sugar sprinkled on because to my mind they just tasted like cardboard. Anyway - it then occurred to me that if I tried the honey nut ones I wouldnt need to add any sugar and when I compared like with like for fat and calories it seemed that there was not much difference once the sugar was accounted for, I can still have a bowl of these for breakfast ...  Read the complete review
