I just find them to be a bit too stodgy and as much as I love the feeling of being full on freshly baked bread, these were different and I didn't enjoy being bloated on them. The boys enjoyed these and I would buy them again for that reason but these definitely aren't the most appetizing thing that Tesco have come up with. These finger buns are priced at 73p for 6. The tops are covered in a white icing and they look as though they are made of white bread which puts me off a little. The fingers don't particularly smell of much although they did give off a subtle 'sweet' aroma when you get your nose close to them. I fin these quite odd in general because they do taste quite nice: sweet and satisfying, but I feel like they are having a identity crisis. They can't make their mind up if they are a sweet bun or a savoury bread. It confuse my brain too much and although I enjoy eating them, I'm not bowled over by their presence. After having to pop to my local Tesco express for a few bits my children decided that as their treat they wanted something cakey, hence this review. The product I will now review is - "Tesco - 6 iced finger buns" Now I haven't had these in years, this was one of my favourites as a child, I was never a fan of cream cakes in my youth so these were ideal, funnily enough my kids are the same. These particular cakes come housed in an open topped cardboard sleeve, then wrapped in a clear plastic packet, through which you can see the 6 delicious looking buns.
