I have lost count of the number of times I have purchased a pizza in a box only to be disappointed with the paltry number of pepperoni slices which don't actually cover your pizza at all and you end up adding extra ingredients from the fridge to compensate for this. The only cardboard on this product was a thin strip which told you the name of the product in this case Tesco Italian Pepperoni Feast. The reverse listed nutritional information how to cook and allergy advice. The main p...more

Premium Review Tesco Italian Pepperoni Pizza: The Best Pizza (341 words)

THis is one of the best chilled pizzas in any of the supermarkets and when it's on offer we always buy a few of them to put in the freezer because we all like them big time in our house. All the Tesco Italian pizzas are wicked but this Pepperoni one is the best out of all of them I reckon because the taste of the pepperoni is nice and strong and goes wicked with the cheese and tomato. The base is thin and goes crispy in the oven and whether you've frozen it or not it cooks exactly the same and that's good because sometimes if you freeze a chilled pizza and then cook it from frozen it goes a bit hard or rubbery. There are loads of slices of ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Italian Pepperoni Pizza 371g When I was buying my groceries from the nearby Tesco recently trying to get healthier food that I can cook myself rather than depend on ready meals, I saw an offer I could not resist: Tesco pepperoni pizza for half the price. I thought I should cook more and that I could make pizza myself very easily, but then, with this offer, making it at home would cost much more and I love pepperoni, so why not? I bought it for £1.64, but normally it is for £3.29 which is not cheap but not very expensive either. Of course, you could find cheaper pizzas, but you will get even a frozen pizza, or one of an ...  Read the complete review

I cant believe the cost of pizza these days. I appreciate that branded products are often considerably more than stores own versions however when you consider what is actually in a pizza I think that the price is often quite ridiculous. Anyway ranting put to one side its not something we tend to eat a lot of in our household however from time to time we buy a few of these with some salad and garlic bread usually on a Friday or Saturday evening when neither myself or my husband can be bothered cooking. I took advantage of a recent Tesco offer where they were doing three pizzas for £6 which considering that they were a reasonable size I thought was good value for ...  Read the complete review

As previously stated in my last review, I am a big fan of the Tesco Italian range so it will come as no shock that I can often be found with one of their pizzas satin my fridge or freezer. I always used to buy the all-ready frozen pizza's from Tescos until I stumbled upon this great little find from a great little ranfge, the Tesco Italian Pepperoni Pizza, so here goes my opinion on it... (I am getting peckish already!) The Pepperoni Pizza comes in a black plastic base which the pizza sits upon. Your mouth starts to water as the toppings look so fresh and ready to eat. It is all protected by having a transparent film wrapped tightly to base which is then bound ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Italian Pepperoni Pizza: Nice Pizza from Tescos (206 words)

I look for a pizza with less fat so that I don't get fat or clog up the tubes of my body. So Looking at this pizza it is slightly healthier than alot of your fast food restaurants though it is about 7.9g sat fat per 100 grams so probably the same as eating buiscuits but with the nutrition of meat and bread. This pizza is found in tesco's at £3.49 which is quite expensive, but they do have special offers on quite often at about £1.74 which makes it cheaper than a sandwich. Its a thin pizza that is oven cooked So I take 2 home with me, put one in the freezer and oven bake the other on Gas mark 4 for 12 minutes and eat half of it. The pepperoni is ...  Read the complete review
