The Meal:
So when you remove the sleeve you are met with not a very big looking black container but it is quite deep. I microwaved my meal and all I did was pierce the film a few times with a fork, and I cooked it from chilled in 5 minutes. Before cooking it all I could see was a cream coloured sauce and even when I pierced the lid I got no real aroma from it.

I really do like my ready meals as I like fast food taking no time and energy to prepare. When I saw this in my local Tesco store priced at £1.70 (or 3 different meals for five pounds) I was unable to resist getting it for my tea that night! The Packaging: The meal comes in a black square tray with a clear plastic cover over it and a dark green sleeve that gently slides off it. On the front of that there is a photograph of the carbonara and I'm told in light green and orange writing that it is Tesco 'Italian' Spaghetti Carbonara 'fresh egg spaghetti and smoked ham in a creamy cheese sauce' and that it contains no added artificial preservatives, ...
