I love Jelly Babies and in Tesco yesterday I couldn't stop myself buying 3 bags of their own brand sweets for £1.00! I think they're dead nice, the babies are a bit smaller than the Bassetts ones but that doesn't matter because they're lovely and fruity. There are 4 different colours and they are red, green, yellow and black. The only thing that bugs me about these is that the black ones are more purple than they should be and they just taste like a stronger version of the red ones. The green ones are lime but the taste isn't that strong and even though I hardly ever eat green sweets I don't mind these because they're still nice and sweet ... Read the complete review

If I had to choose over chocolate or jelly sweets, nine times out of ten I would go for the chocolate! However there is the odd occasion when I am in the mood for something jelly, and a little while ago I was in one of these rare moods. I decided across the road to tesco to see what they had in store. I browsed their shelves in their confectionary aisle, and stopped when something bright green and colourful caught my eye. Inside the plastic bag are lots of different coloured fruit flavoured jelly sweets. The sweets are shaped like little men and they are around 1-1.5cm in size. There are lots of sweets within the bag and they have a slight powdery cover on them meaning when you bite in to the sweet you have two different colours as the middle has a deeper colour to it. These are quite sweet and have a nice fruit flavouring too them without being too overpowering. These is ... Read the complete review

I have to confess to having a bit of a sweet tooth and every now and then needing to indulge in a little sweet snack. There are no sweets that I love more than the others so, the Tescos three small bags for one pound offer is ideal as then I get to try a few different things, but it is much better than a variety bag as they always get filled with rubbish and only a few nice things. In my last shopping expedition I decided to purchase the Tescos jelly babies. They come in relatively plain boring packaging, so I can't see them competing with the likes of the bigger brands whose packaging goes crazy to try and attract the children! However I was sold on the ... Read the complete review
