Once you open the white box with a picture of the cakes on the front at first you may be a bit disappointed at the size - for some reason they look quite big on the picture but are actually quite small. They are plastic wrapped in a case, not individually wrapped. The white yogurt icing is usually cracked, again unlike the picture on the front. Does the taste let you down? In my opinion NO!! Although I am currently on a healthy eating plan with the aim of loosing weight I still want to enjoy some nice treats every now and again. This is where the Tesco Light Choices range comes in. I have had these in the past and will again in the future, although I do not buy them that often as they are very moreish and I am the only one who really likes them! I got a box today, they were 99p for a box of 6 carrot and orange cake slices. Each 30g cake slice contains: 95 calories 1.0g protein 20.6g carbohydrate 13.3g of which sugars 0.7g fat 0.4g saturated fat a trace of monounsaturates and polyunsaturates 0.6g ...

They come in a white box which is the same design as the other boxes in the Tesco light range. On the front it has a picture of some of the cake slices on a ...

Whilst always trying to watch what I eat and eat as sensibly as possible, I do like to treat myself to a tasty sweet snack or two throughout the course of the day. Browsing through the cakes on offer in Tesco I spied their Health Choices Carrot and Orange cake slices. The picture on the box looked good, with only 95 calories per slice and a great love of carrot cake I decided to give them a try. THE PACKAGING In quite an eye-catching white box with a tasty looking photo of the cakes on the front. These 6 cakes come in a moulded plastic tray, each cake having its own little section to sit in and then enclosed in a clear plastic ...
