A Crap Tesco Sandwich.... Deffo One To Avoid!

Tesco sandwiches are big time hit and miss.... some are so yummy that you feel like going back to the supermarket and getting another one as soon as you've eaten the first, but others are just naff. Like this one! lol

It's a Light Choices sandwich and is ham salad on something called softgrain bread, the bread just tastes like white bread to me though and even though it's made to look like there are seeds in it there isn't anything to bite down on as your chewing the bread.

The sandwich is stupidly boring, there's hardly any taste in it for me to tell you about! lol There looks like there's a good bit of ham on the sandwich but there's not that much because it's all been folded up weird so that it looks loads more bulky than it is. The ham doesn't taste meaty and as you eat it you can tell it's that chopped up stuff that has been put back together with a load of water.

There was lettuce, cucumber and tomato on the sandwich and they were nice and fresh tasting but there was too much lettuce and it had made the bread go a bit soggy in some places. The lettuce took the last little bit of flavour out of the ham as well and there wasn't enough cucumber on it for me to taste that very well.

I paid about £1.50 for this let down of a sandwich, it's deffo a low fat butty and has only got 275 calories and 2.6g fat in the whole thing. You know something though, I'd rather have a nicer sandwich than this and blow a few more calories on it! lol

The whole sandwich is just majorly bland and there's nothing in it to make you think you're eating anything filling at all, I can make a ham sandwich for about the same calories at home and give it a bit of life by putting some sort of low fat dressing or spread on it.

Not recommended.... not worth a penny of the money for this boring as anything butty!!
