Once again I find myself eating for the purposes of a review, and as if sitting around at home on this site wasn't enough reason to make you put on the pounds. I guess that's why I should be thankful that the product I am reviewing today is of the low fat variety, in Tesco Low Fat Yoghurt. There's a picture of a strawberry on the top as well so I will presume that's the flavour, and oh yeah it does have text saying strawberry on the side so there is the confirmation. With so many yoghurts to choose from I think the yoghurt companies have to really take notice of the size and shape pots their customers want, as well as making them as healthy as possible. You ... I do like a yoghurt every now and again, and black cherry is one of my favourite flavours. Nutritional Information Name Per Serving 150g Energy 585kJ (140kcal) Protein 5.7g Carbohydrate 22.4g sugars 20.9g Fat 2.8g The yogurt is a nice deep purple colour that screams black cherries at you, however that's about as good as it gets. The yoghurt is fairly thin and runny, and I prefer a nice thick creamy yoghurt, I know low fat yoghurts are generally thinner, but this is much runnier than other low fat yoghurts I've eaten. There isn't a great deal in the way of black cherries either, ... Read the complete review

Tesco Low Fat Cherry Yoghurt This is part of a range of low fat yoghurts by Tesco that come in small, wide, circular pots, are dark blue in colour and come in lots of different flavours including strawberry, toffee and hazelnut. I like yoghurt and I like cherries but I love this yoghurt. The pot is good quality, looks nice and has an easy peel back lid; you can easily identify the flavour, as there are pictures on each lid. The yoghurt has large chunks of juicy cherry and tastes really sweet and creamy. The consistency is just slightly thicker than standard yoghurt. I found it difficult to believe when I was eating this yoghurt that it ... Read the complete review

I have tried both the black cherry and the strawberry low fat yogurt from tesco. I am not aware of any plain "cherry" low fat yogurt, I think Dooyoo forgot the "black" bit. It comes in a pot of 150 grams and it is really low fat, with 4.1 gramms of fat and 147 calories. The packaging is unusual for a yogurt, although I have seen some Greek yogurts packaged like it. It really like on the photo on Dooyoo, with a quite flat pot. The one I bought comes in a box of 4 which you need to separate from each other. I found that it was better and easier done with a knife, that by simple folding the yogurts, with the possible ... Read the complete review

For some reason, it seems to be in vogue at the moment to have fruit flavoured yoghurt which doesn't have any fruit in. I'm not sure why this is - I'm sure these super creamy super smooth yoghurts are all very nice, but if I have a cherry yoghurt I damn well want to see some cherries. It seems to get what I want I need to head, not for the super-expensive yoghurts but for the cheap ones. Tesco's low-fat yoghurt line are only 22p each and there, as requested, are great big lumps of cherry. It's quite a runny yoghurt, which can cause some issues when opening it - there's always that risk you'll end up with little drops of yoghurt everywhere. This is ... Read the complete review
