The cake is presented on a circular tray covered with silver foil so there’s no need to get out your fancy cake dishes in order to serve it. How many times have you bought a birthday or special occasion cake from a supermarket and been really disappointed with it? I have on numerous occasions. I normally make birthday cakes myself but as icing is not my speciality I have been known on occasions to take a trip to the local supermarket and buy one of the many birthday cakes on sale. Oh they always look good, but seldom fail to deliver the goods when they are eaten.
