That is pretty amazing by anyone's standards, especially given that just over 5g of the fat is saturated. So is this cereal really worth it? Well yes I think it is! The first thing I like about this cereal is the lovely golden clusters of cereal. They are really filling as well as being a tasty treat and there is a strong flavour of maple syrup that comes through when I eat these. The pecans, as any pecan fan will kno...more

A 500g box of Tesco Maple and Pecan Crisp set me back £1.28 in Tesco this week which to me is a very reasonable price for a cereal product of this quality. On a recent shopping trip to Tesco this cereal caught my eye and reading what it said on the box I was convinced I would really enjoy it. PER 100g Calories 460 Protein 8g Carbohydrates 63.9g Of which sugars18.3g Fat 19g As you can see from the nutritional information this cereal is not as healthy as a lot of others but ...

I generally have a look in the area where the mueslis and such like are as I enjoy this sort of cereal. Whilst looking there I spotted Tesco Maple and Pecan Crisp. I have had this sort of thing before and to be honest I absolutely love it. Mind you I suppose given the fact that pecans are my favourite nuts and I love the taste of maple syrup that's not really a surprise is it? I hadn't tried this particular version before so I decided to treat myself. At 99p for a 500g box it wasn't an expensive treat. The ...
