I actually cook it on the hob and it is just as quick. I would eat it with bread as soup does not always fill me up. It looks nice. You can see the vegetables. Tesco Minestrone Soup is currently (3/01/09) sold 39p per 400g tin. In the Tesco shop you will find it with the tinned soup. The packaging says it contains milk, whear, gluten and egg but it is suitable for vegetarians. This product does not contain nuts. The ingredients are: Water, Tomato Puree (20%), Pasta (5%), Carrots, Modified Maize Starch, Peas, Red Pepper, Pea Beans, Potato Starch, Onion, Sugar, Salt, Vegetable Oil, Reconstituted Dried Leek, Yeast Extract, Flavouring, Garlic Powder, Italian Medium Fat Hard Cheese, Basil, Citric Acid, Oregano, White Pepper, Thyme, Onion Powder, and Onion Extract. Tesco Minestrone Soup can be found in the fresh soup section in one of the chill cabinets. The soup comes in a see through plastic tub which holds 600g of soup. The tub describes the soup as An Italian style soup made with tomatoes, pasta, vegetables and herbs. There is a lot of information on the tub which I am really not going to write down for you as it can be easily read at the supermarket. There are Allergy Advice notices, Caution notices, Ingredients list, nutrition list, additional info list. Cooking Instructions and freezing guidelines.
