... very reasonable I thought. They came in a long retangular box and the breadsticks themselved were in a platic sealed bag to keep them fresh until they were opened. Now my daughter did love them, she loved the fact that she could feed herself and she munched her way through one keeping her entertained for a few minutes. I now always have a box in a cupboard, they are just really handy and she also enjoys them with some cream cheese. Now be warned, breadsticks are incredibly moreish, I swear it's nearly imposs...more

Premium Review Tesco Original Breadsticks: For all those 'dippy' people out there! (284 words)

It's gone so cold lately and it appears to be making Noah ridiculously hungry all the time. He's never been into food much and would go all day without anything to eat if I didn't actually give him anything but lately, he wants anything and everything. The thing is, is that I am running out of snacks to offer him so I had a good search around Tesco' and Sainsburys this week to see if I could stock up on some snacks. These breadsticks were 64p for a box. On opening the box, the breadsticks were packaged in a plastic sealed bag that needed my teeth to get into it. The breadsticks were a nice golden brown colour and they were long and about as thick as a baby ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I Am A Tesco Breadstick NIbbler! (508 words)

I write this whilst finishing off a packet of these breadsticks in a speed-eating manner. I am dunking them in no dip, needing no water to wash them down with. In fact, they are quite pleasant to eat alone. I had a packet left over after my daughter's party where I provided the vegan catering. These went down very well generally and most were eaten - I bought quite a few packets to go with the dips I made. Price ------ These breadsticks are currently on offer - quick buy them for those barbeques! They are down from 64p to 59p until the 12th of July. Packaging ------------- The ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Original Breadsticks: A Decent Little Snack (406 words)

Tesco Original Breadsticks are available in Tesco stores for 64p for a 125g packet. They're something that some people might not think of as being an every day food, because they're so commonly associated as being a party food. Well, they are great for that, but they're also great as snacks for both adults and children. For adults, these goes brilliantly with low fat dressings used as dips. Now the Mrs informs me that these are usually vinegar based ones that are low in fat, but do check the labels of your own popular choices. The other nifty use for these is as snacks for fussy kiddies. They're low in fat, calories and nutrition in general, but ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pefect toddler snack (369 words)

Up until a couple of years ago , I only ever ate breadsticks when I was on holiday. Occasionally I'd find them in restaurants and find myself munching through a few whilst waiting for my meal to arrive. They were something I just would never have considered buying for home. Then my daughter reached an age when she was becoming fiercely independant when it came to feeding herself. She no longer wanted me to feed her and instead wanted to do the job herself. Whilst this was fine when we were at home, it really didn't matter how messy she got there, it wasn't always ideal when we were out and about. I therefore had to find foods which were handy to take out ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Original Breadsticks: A great snack and great for dipping (256 words)

Please note, I am actually reviewing the same breadsticks, but in the mini version. I originally bought these for my children while walking around Tesco as a shut-up bribe. I needed to keep them fairly clean, so no tomato seeds or strawberry juice this time! I am half Italian, so always knew breadsticks as Grissini, rather than Italian breadsticks and always had them in our family home as a child, and ALWAY graced the table as a pre dinner nibble when we had company for dinner. Very popular on Italian tables, and commonly found at family run Italian Eateries. Now, they are a crunchy smooth stick, about 1 cm in diameter and 3 inches long. Great ...  Read the complete review
