I saw the product with a clear picture of what was inside and the maker at the top. Nothing fancy or mind blowing is on the packaging it is simply 2 peaches and 2 peach slices symbolising the peach slices. The taste * * * * Wow, the taste was outstanding for the quality I was expecting, a well balanced peach taste filled the mouth and the syrup/juice added the 'melba' taste to the ...more

Premium Review Tesco Peach Slices in Light Syrup: If it didn't say Tesco's on the tin I would never have guess ... (407 words)

I am a major fan of tinned foods, and them being quick and easy alternatives to fresh foods. Aswell as that I adore peach slices, and a wide variety of fresh foods, and am very fussy when picking as I expect them to be soft and most of all, taste nice. "TESCO Sliced Peaches in Light Syrup" are a convenient way to include some fruit in your daily diet and they are to be found in the tinned fruit section of most Tesco stores. Tinned fruits are something of a British tradition. I have happy childhood memories of Sunday tea time, a crisp tablecloth on the dining room table, the best china and cutlery, homemade cake, bowls of sliced peaches covered in a little evaporated milk, slices of buttered fresh bread, and a nice pot of tea. ~ Packaging ~ The peach slices come in a standard tin can with a label showing many ripe peaches and some juicy looking slices.
