Advantages: easy
Disadvantages: not as good as home made
Tesco pepperoni pizza.
I bought 2 today they were on offer two classico pepperoni for the price of 1 they cost £2.99. I like to keep a pizza or two in the freezer for emergency rations when I am exhausted after work.
These are a thin base pizza covered with a tomato sauce with pieces of pepperoni scattered all over it. There are a few herbs and garlic in the tomato sauce not much just a hint There is a grating of mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top of the pizza.
This pizza takes about 10 minutes to cook at 200 c. They can be cooked from frozen takes a few minutes longer 14 minutes still crisp. I usually do this.
I find these pizza fine for a quick easy meal they are not wonderful but adequate a reasonable quality and quite tasty.
I serve mine with a green salad and sometimes a few chips.
These are about 12-inch diameter pizza enough or two three or 4 servings depending on how piggy you are and what you serve with it.
I expect to eat mine after next weeks late staff meeting. Thanks for reading Mary

- 01/03/05 I quite like this pizza because it's not stodgy like most supermarket ones, the base is crispier too. Mmmm, it's 9.45am and I fancy pizza now, not good. lol
