Tesco Pilau Rice represents outstanding value for money in my book. I'm quite pleased with a lot of the Tesco Indian and Chinese foods in general, but this is more than just okay - it's brilliant. This stuff costs 99p if you buy it in a 270g pot, or £1.79 if you buy a 500g pot. There's not too much difference in price per gram there so you can happily buy the pot size to suit you. Both pots are really easy to heat up, and the contents come pre-cooked. Just pierce the plastic lid and put it in the microwave for around four minutes. This rice comes out really soft and fluffy.
