Advantages: Great taste, great convenience food, cheap

Disadvantages: Only available at Tesco

I have to admit to being quite a big fan of Pizza. Its tasty and more importantly its quick and easy to cook and easily does me for an evening meal. When doing my weekly shop at Tesco, I came across their Margarita Pizza and decided to buy one and since then, it has become a regular item on my shopping list.

Packaging
This pizza comes in your bog standard pizza cardboard box which is primarily green with a large picture of the pizza on the front which looks delicious! Tesco Pizzeria Margherita is written across the front on the box in green and white writing. On the back is all the usual information such as ingredients and a customer care and comments address and phone number.

Price
These pizza are one of Tesco's long term buy one get one free offers which means that you can buy 2 pizza's for £3 which I think is a very good price really compared to some of the brand named pizzas.

The Pizza
This is a normal size pizza which weighs 460 grams according to the box. This pizza is from the stone baked range at Tesco which means it is thin and crispy which is great for people (like me) who don't like doughy pizza bases. This stone baked pizza is topped with tomato sauce, cherry tomatoes, Emmental, mozzarella, Cheddar and red Cheddar cheeses!

Cooking Instructions
The box states that for best results, always cook from frozen. Place the pizza directly on the top shelf of a pre-heated oven for 14-16 minutes. It does state that times need to be adjusted according to your oven thought.

What Does It Taste Like?
This is one of my favourite pizzas. I am not a very big fan of tomatoes but the little cherry tomatoes on this pizza are very scrummy and contrast well with the variety of cheeses. The base is thin and crispy although I do find that sometimes the middle of the pizza can go a little bit soggy with all the cheese and tomato sauces on the top but it still tastes just as yummy to me!
I always find that with some cheese pizzas, there hardly seems to be much cheese on the pizza and this is another reason why I like this pizza, it isn't stingy with its portion of cheese and once cooked, you have a large amount of gorgeous flavoured cheese to much your way through.

Summary
I think this pizza is extremely good value for money. It is nice and tasty and has the advantage of a nice crispy base rather than a thick doughy one. It is great to just pop it in the oven and basically 20 mins later, have a meal so is excellent convenience food although not particularly healthy!

Summary: A gorgeous tasting pizza thats reasonably priced.

I think you need to add more to the actual taste section, as this to me is the defining point in a food & drink review. Thanks

You don't know what pizza can taste like if you haven't been to Naples where it was 'born'. Why don't you go there and find out? :-))
