Tesco Reduced Calorie Mayonnaise

Half the calories, half the taste! OK so good points about this less calories than standard mayo. Comes in a glass jar so its recyclable as opposed to squeezy bottles that seem to be everywhere. Pleasant enough mayo smell to it, and pretty smooth too. Bad points- its a bit clinical in colour, almost "too white" for me, which does give it an overmanufactured feel. Its quite dense too, imagine sticking a spoon in, plonking it on your plate and it staying the same shape as the curve of the spoon and when you dip things into it, they dont break the surface, if you follow. Good mixed with tuna or salmon, egg, for egg mayonnaise and put a bit in your mash for a silky smooth mashed potato quite nice. Nice on a salad, with chicken in a sandwich in fact it has many uses and these are but a few. This is a passible mayonnaise not one of the best, but good enough and cheap. Lets face it nothing is as good as Hellmans for quality but this comes quite close.
