Tesco Roast Potatoes

I bought a packet of Tesco frozen roast potatoes last week for around 69p and I must say they were absolutely appalling and not a patch on home made roasters or even Aunt Bessies roast potatoes! The amount of fat that came out of these during cooking astounded me, particularly considering the fact that they didn't feel overly greasy or oily while still frozen. When cooked I wasn't impressed with the appearance of them as they had browned very unevenly and while parts of the potatoes were golden, other patches were as pale as when I put them in the oven and that was in spite of two turns during the cooking time.
