I'm a bit of a nut fan, and whilst I'm not mad keen on the walnut's and brazil nuts of this world, I do have a soft spot for the old pistachio - in my opinion, the king of all the nuts . Tesco Roasted Salted Pistachio Nuts come in a variety of different size bags, with the 300g size costing £1.77 (59p per 100g). The predominantly green packet is easy to open and is made of a 'foil fresh' material to keep the nuts in good health. Obviously, as they are a Tesco product, you can't get this particular brand of pistachio's anywhere else, but ASDA sell their own 400g bag for £3.50 (which works out as 87.5p for 100g).
