Advantages: Brilliant sour taste
Disadvantages: NONE
I know that I have been reviewing Asda children's sweets lately and this review and the two that will surely follow it, seeing as I purchased three bags, are not the start of a new trend to my eating craze. Quite simply whilst on a trip in town I fancied something sweet and with not an Asda in sight I had to resort to Tesco's own sweets. This bag is called fizzy multicolour belts and to be honest they were extremely delicious.
The fizzy multicolour belts cost 38p a bag and contains 75g of sweets but like Asda's own sweets can be bought on offer with three bags for £1. The bag in questions is a very eye-catching orange in colour and has a picture of a bouncing blue alien with four eyes on the front. The front if the bag also tells me that the sweets contain no artificial colours and no artificial flavours.
The pack itself has a sweet fruity smell when opened and is very enticing. The smell itself despite being sweet and a little sugary is not sickly at all. The bag I bought contained 16 fizzy belts, which were about 2cm wide and 15cm long. For the price I thought that this was more than adequate. The sweets themselves are multicoloured, as the name suggest, and are yellow, blue, green, orange and pink. They are also coated in a fizzy and sour sugar.
The taste however is always the test. For a start the belts are definitely fizzy, which is a positive for me. I can see however how they may be too fizzy for some people and how for this reason you may only be able to eat a couple at a time. The fruit flavour of the belts is also very refreshing although I cannot put my finger exactly on what the taste is.

For me these sweets were fantastic and certainly quelled my sugar craving. The pack size makes them great for tucking away in a pocket or handbag and the price makes them brilliant value for money. I know that as a child I loved sour sweets like this, as did my younger brother but some children may not like the tingling sensation that the fizzy sugar can cause. All in all though these sweets are definitely something I will buy again should I find myself craving sweets and out of reach of an Asda.
Summary: A great little treat
