Advantages: Taste great - perfect for dunking, great price

Disadvantages: I just eat loads.........

I love biscuits and thought that I bought them very rarely, until I see what is in the cupboards and realise that in fact they are a regular feature. I do enjoy a nice malted milk as a tea dunker and I also give one to my son every now and again and he seems to enjoy them. We have tried quite a few branded and supermarket versions now, just depending on where we are shopping.

Currently priced at 35p for a 200g packet of biscuits, these Tesco label malted milks are great. They are firm and not crumbly yet melt in your mouth and turn into a complete soggy mess when dunked into tea - which for me is perfect - I love the tea soaked lumps at the bottom of the mug. Very rarely do I eat much less than a quarter of a pack in one sitting - I just can not help myself. Sadly half a pack is 490 calories, which is pretty awful to think about.

However, these are very enjoyable and great value for money compared to branded versions which are usually more than double the price.

I would stick with these if I was going to buy malted milks again. But I am not - diet just started!!!
