Advantages: Taste dead unusual; Cheap; Filling

Disadvantages: None

I haven't had Malted Milk for ages and when I saw these Tesco ones were only 40p a pack I brought them to see if they were still as nice as they used to be.

These are wicked biscuits and I ended up having to share my pack because everyone in the family wanted some! I like them because they're not too sweet and are like a cross between shortbread and a digestive and have got a proper nice taste that are wicked dunked in a cup of sweet coffee.

The biscuits have got a malty flavour and are quite filling when you've eaten a few and that surprised me because they are proper light tasting and easy to eat. The biscuit is quite crunchy to start with but goes nice and soft in my mouth because they have the texture of shortbread and melt quick.

I love the flavour of them and it's dead frustrating because I can't describe it so you won't know just how good they taste. If you imagine shortbread but not as sweet and with the added malt flavour, I know I keep saying shortbread but that's the closest thing I can think of to these.

I like dunking them in coffee because the 2 flavours of the malt and coffee go wicked together and the biscuit goes soft but not soggy. I think I dunked most of mine because they are proper moorish like that and the coffee makes them taste a bit sweeter and I couldn't stop dipping into the pack until they'd all gone but even sharing them between 4 other people I felt like I'm had plenty because they are more filling than other biscuits.

They're good value as well I think because they're not as dry as the Malted Milks that Hills make and have got a nicer taste and are only 1p dearer. I don't think there's a well known brand that make them but all the supermarkets have their own version and they're always quite a cheap biscuit.

Summary: Sorry About All The Shortbread Comparisons
