Tesco brought these salmon burgers out as part of their bbq range in the summer and I love them, you only get 2 in a pack for £1.99 but they are quite big and very filling so that doesn't matter. They cook in about 15 minutes so that's just right for a bbq when you want everything cooked as soon as possible. The salmon is in big chunks and the batter coating the fish cake is very light and has had herbs mixed into it so it tastes more interesting than normal fishcake batter. Out of all the ready-prepared BBQ food that my fiancé's Mum bought, these Salmon Burgers were the biggest surprise. The thought of a burger made from salmon wasn't very appealing and as we took them out of the box and saw this pink disc, we were certain they would be dry and horrible. At the time we had the BBQ I couldn't get my head around the concept of a burger made from salmon. But now when I think about it, it's really just like a fish cake, but in a Thai fish cake way and not one filled with potato.
