Tesco Scottish All Butter Shortbread Selection

Each biscuit is made to the same recipe as the rest in the tin, it is merely the shape that differs - so why do we ... more  ... spend so much time choosing whether we are going to have a shortbread heart, or a shortbread wedge, or even (pushing the boat out now) a shortbread thistle??!!
The biscuits are a good size, and nice and chunky - far better than anything you would expect to have in a packet and a size that makes you feel as though you have a substantial treat in your hand.

This review is about Tesco All butter shortbread assortment. We were bought a tin of these delicious shortbread biscuits for Christmas, and having just polished off the last crumb, I feel well placed to review them! The tin itself is a Scottish scene on a tartan base - reassuringly traditional, and leaving you in no doubt about the contents. Taking off the lid, and you are confronted with a selection of superb looking and even better smelling shortbread.
