Tesco Snack Pack Raisins Description: Manufacturer: Tesco / Type: Snack A bag containing 18 mini individual boxes of these raisins cost me £1.15 from my local Tesco. They come in a red plastic bag, with a see through front which allows you to see the little boxes inside. The brand name is written on the front. I have bought more expensive brands than this for a while, because I like the convenience factor of the snack sized packs. They are a great addition to lunchboxes and easy to pop in a bag or a drawer for when you fancy a sweet treat, but want something more healthy than chocolate. These raisins are just as ... I was in the supermarket this afternoon, incredibly stressed out and desperately looking for a cheap and not unhealthy snack for my sons to have at Grandma's house. At just over a £1 for a bag of 18 boxes of raisins I thought this was a bargain and actually cheaper than getting them crisps, not to mention an awful lot better for the little rascals. Also, not only was I getting a snack for today but the little boxes are perfect for keeping in the baby bag/car for when I need something to keep the boys quiet for a few minutes. The bag is a similar colour/design to the more expensive brand named version (which it sold next to) but of course is ... Read the complete review

I started my these little boxes of raisins for my little girl when she turned 12 months. She was becoming really independant, wanting to feed herself rather than be fed and I was looking for snacks that were healthy yet tasty enough for her to not become bored by them. Up until this point her snacks had mainly been rice cakes and I think she was looking for something a little more interesting with more flavour. Initially I bought the market leader brand Sun Maid and while she loved these, I did think that they were quite expensive. One day while doing my weekly Tesco shop, I spotted this Tesco own brand alternative to the Sun Maid raisins. They were ... Read the complete review

We used to buy these Tesco Snack Pack Raisins up until very recently, when we realised how much better off we'd be by buying the large bags of (very cheap) Tesco Value Sultanas. I know that strictly speaking there is a difference between raisins and sultanas, I've just yet to work out what that difference is besides raisins being a tiny bit drier. These Tesco Snack Pack Raisins will set you back £1.25 for a multipack containing 18 boxes. That's 7p for each 14g box. Not bad value really, especially since the Organix Raisin boxes that we bought the grandson as a baby worked out at a fair bit more. These are a bit fiddly for very young children to ... This is a great example of a product that is a good way to save money without sacrificing an awful lot. Tesco have marketed this product well and have used very similar colours to the Branded market leader of Sun maid raisins. The packets are a bright red and to be honest I don't think that my daughters have been able to tell the difference since I swapped over! The last time I swapped to Tesco raisins the Disney version in a bid to save money, my older daughter promptly refused to eat them as they had a picture of a bunch of grapes on them. Anyway back to the product the quality of the raisins I can't fault this at all , they are plump and juicy and have ... Read the complete review
