The image on the packet front shows a bowl of flakes with lots of red berry pieces in and fruits around the bowl. In reality, the berries that you get in each bowlful are much less than this picture. If you ignore this marketing ploy, then this is a great cereal that is really enjoyable. Price ------ A 375g of this cereal costs just £1.68. In comparison to the Special K cereal with fruit, it is much cheaper. I suspect that the Special K cereal may have more fruit in. As a student I'm always on the look out for a bargain and Tesco Special Flakes definitely were, they are over £1 cheaper than the Kelloggs Special K version but are they really comparable to the Kelloggs cereal? Well when I poured out my first bowl full I couldn't actually see any red berries! I dug around the bowl a bit with my spoon and after some searching managed to find 1 raspberry and 1 strawberry in the entire bowl full. I thought perhaps that there just weren't many berries at the top of my packet but looking at it there really didn't seem that many at all and I got a similar number of berries in all my subsequent bowls.
