I like to have what I call 'picky' teas every so often and you can guarantee that these sorts of teas will involve a pot of this cous, cous. I really love the stuff but can never be bothered to make it up myself so go for the ready made pots. It costs £1.79 for a 500g pot and the whole thing is made up of mostly cous, cous but there are some sultanas and red peppers thrown in for good measure. And again there was this little voice in my ear that made me go to Tescos in my lunch break to have a look for around. I'm a big fan of couscous and was quite happy when I saw that the spicy couscous salad was reduced to 90p - a quick and cheap lunch and some alternation from my typical lunch. You can find the couscous salad in the chilled goods section in a clear plastic cup; please note that unlike the pasta there's no plastic fork with the couscous. The salad contains of course couscous, curry dressing, sultana and red pepper.
