Tesco Spicy Pepper Pasta Sauce

I, like most people at present, am trying to save myself pennies wherever possible and this is one of the products that I have recently tried in this bid. The sauce is provided in a glass jar with a paper label which has the cooking instructions and the nutritional information. The sauce is a tomato based sauce with added herbs, peppers & chilli and there is no mistaking that this sauce contains pepper and chilli powder as it has quite a kick to it. I can taste the tomatoes and the herbs and the whole thing has quite a flavoursome taste without being too much. I am a fond cook; I love cooking with raw vegetables and fresh meat. Often I make meals from scratch however sometimes I just want to make something easy and satisfying; pasta sauce is perfect for this. Tesco's brand of pasta sauce is well worth the price that it costs. They come in a variety of good flavours and are all well worth a sample if you are a pasta eater. The spicy pepper pasta sauce is by far my favourite of the selection. Although I am a new member of the dooyoo community, several of the reviews that I have written is to do with food (I confess...I am a food loving bloater and I don't care!), so I was suprised to see that this Tesco sauce hadn't been reviewed yet - SHOCKING. Now don't get me wrong, theres nothing I like better than to cook a fresh bolognaise/pasta sauce using nothing but real fresh ingredients such as tomatoes, herbs, vegetables, garlic etc. But after spending a long hard day slaving away in the lab, the last thing I want to do when I get home is slave away for dinner.
