The Tesco sticky toffee cheesecake is a dessert I buy quite often if I am having a friend or family for dinner. This is because it always goes down well with guests and I enjoy it too. The cheesecake serves 6 - 8 people depending on how big you want the slices to be and I think this is very good value as the cheesecake only costs £1. It can be found in the freezer cabinet in Tesco alongside other gateaux and cakes. It is not difficult to spot as the packaging is very eye-catching and stands out in the freezer. The box is a bright orange colour so it is difficult to miss! The cheesecake is frozen so it is handy to keep in the freezer ... Read the complete review

Tesco is well known for its cheap own brand products- often imitating known brand items but making cheaper versions. This is one of them! I love cheesecake and often try different brands to find the best tasting. So far, I've only ever found really expensive versions to be good. But I decided to try this in the quest for yet another delicious cheesecake at a bargain price! Some cheesecakes have a nice base but rubbish filling or vice versa. Here's the lowdown on each element in this version. ~The base~ This one has quite a thick biscuit base. It is nice and crunchy and seems to be made with a syrup rather than margarine or ... My mum is trying out a load of different food at the minute so she can get the Xmas day menu just right, I know it's early but I'm not complaining because we haven't eaten so good all year. Yesterday she brought a Sticky Toffee Cheesecake from Tesco , we had it after tea and it was yummy. The cheesecake has got quite a thick biscuit base. The base isn't quite as buttery as I'd like it to be but it's lovely and crunchy with a nice syrup taste to it. You can tell the biscuits they've used are good quality because they hold their shape good while you're cutting the cheesecake but are nice and crumbly when you bite into it. I don't know why but I was ... Read the complete review

When I walk past the freezer section in supermarkets, my head always turns to the cheesecakes. It's like a magnetic attraction. I only tried my first slice of this stuff last year, but it was love at first sight. Cheesecakes aren't the healthiest of desserts, unless you go for a lower fat version, so you might as well go for something indulgent that doesn't skimp on taste. I came across this Sticky Toffee cheesecake in my local Tesco last week and it went straight in my trolley as it was a bargain at £1. This product actually comes in a differently designed box to the one in the photo, but it's easy to find because it's Tesco's own make and is found in the ... Read the complete review

Tesco Sticky Toffee Cheesecake is an absolute bargain buy at £1 for a 400g cheesecake! What's more, it actually tastes really nice for that price!! Tesco Sticky Toffee Cheesecake comes in a deep, brown box (it's been changed since the dooyoo picture was uploaded) and inside there's a foil case that the cheesecake sits in. This is a frozen product, so you need to pull it out of the box to defrost it at room temperature ideally, although if you can wait a bit longer you could just put the box straight into the fridge the day before you want it. The cheesecake is a bit fiddly to get out of the thin foil case, but it has to be done because the foil ... Read the complete review
