I have a sweet tooth, so anything sugary and I'll be snacking on it. I know it's bad for your teeth, but it's like re-living a bit of your long-lost childhood when opt for some old-school sweeties like strawberry laces. Tesco Strawberry laces are found amongst the other sweets and chocolate, obviously within a Tesco store as these are their own make. They don't particularly stand out with packaging that's average, but in my local Tesco these are the only strawberry laces to choose from hence why they end up in my basket every couple of weeks. These are sold in a 75g plastic bag which is purple in colour, though I'm pretty sure it used to be red. The ... Read the complete review

Oh, my secret addiction! If there's one type of sweets that I could never resist than it would be strawberry laces; so sweet, so strawberry, so great to play with! The packing looks quite nice and is obviously designed to attract children; it's purple with a little blue 'Monster' and a small window through which you can see the laces. Don't even try to get a single lace out of the pack, they all stick together and the best is to open the pack and take all of them out. They are quite thin and really stick together (which gives you the perfect excuse to eat more than one at once). As soon as you open the pack you'll smell a quite intense ... Read the complete review

Iive had the tasty delights of trying the majority of the sweets in the Tesco range. They have quite a lot to offer, and one of their options is the Strawberry Laces. To start with the packaging is quite attractive! They come in a tall purple packet with a monster creature on the front. It appeals to children because of its bright colours for sure. There is alittle window so you can see into the laces, and at first glance you can see they are a luscious glossy red colour. I couldnt wait to try them! When you open the packet you are hit with a delicious strawberry sensation. If you try and pull out one lace it wont work, they are all stuck together, ... Read the complete review

I love strawberry laces in general and that's not because they are a really tasty, filling treat, it's more because they bring back memories from my childhood. They are more of a novelty 'eat' more than anything. Whilst I was in Tesco's the other day, Noah asked if he could have a 'Flomp' (that's Flump, to anybody else!) and I spotted these so I put them away for our regular weekend 'munch'. The Tesco laces come in a 75g bag and cost 37p but I did notice that you could buy three for a pound. You can just about see the sweets through a little see through window and if you squeeze the plastic wrapper, and I have a sneaky feeling that the sweets are stuck to it ... Read the complete review

Tesco do an impressive range of sweets. Even in the smaller shops, you can spot a bank of sweets, and part of it is the appeal to kids and the idea of a bit of a sugar rush, particularly those with a sweet tooth. This 75g bag of sweets is available for just under 40p, or as part of an offer of 3 for £1, which also covers a few other items in the same range. I just got this one. The packaging is as you see it in the picture, a purple bag with a funky alien picture on the front, presumably to appeal to kids more. Opening the bag produces a sweet strawberry smell, and the bag contains about 20 or so thin, long strawberry laces. They are jelly based, so you can ... Read the complete review
