Advantages: Great taste, nice scent, chewy fruity laces!
Disadvantages: None
I am a big fan of strawberry laces and as I am on a very low budget recently I picked these up on a recent trip to my local Tesco superstore.
The laces come in a purple packet which really stands out on the shelf and this makes them very easy for me to find amongst all the other goodies in the sweet aisle.
Once opening the packet I was met with a strawberry which was just right and not too overpowering. In the pack there are around 20-25 laces and each is a good 10 inches or so long.
The laces are, of course, red in colour and are a little shiny in appearance. The lace is quite chewy when I bite in to it but not so bad that it completely sticks to my teeth, like some other laces, and I can taste the strawberry which is again not too overpowering.
I like to make bracelets and various chains with my laces and these do not disappoint as they are strong enough to be pulled around and stretched a little without breaking.
There are 347 calories & 1.1g of fat per packet. These are very high in sugar so should definitely be enjoyed in moderation and make sure you brush your teeth well after eating to help keep them protected!
These laces are available for 38p per packet or as part of an ongoing 3 packets for £1.00 deal and therefore can be mixed and matched with other items from the Tesco sweet range.
I am rating this product 5/5 as it's a great price, decorative packaging, lots of sweets for your money and the taste is very good.
Summary: I would definitely recommend these for kids and adults alike!
